In 2025, Lumbung Architect celebrates its 15th anniversary. However, SLA Group, our holding company, is relatively young at just four years old, having been established when I first joined Lumbung.
Let me share a story with you.
When I first became part of Lumbung Architect, I realized that the architectural industry in Bali lacked an ideal standard for firms to aspire to. Finding well-established, high-quality companies with strong systems in place was a significant challenge. At the same time, Bali is home to incredible talent—individuals with immense potential who need guidance and development to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Recognizing this, I felt a deep sense of responsibility to contribute. Together with the founder, Ngurah Andri Saputra, I committed to building a company that could not only set a benchmark for the architectural industry in Bali but also nurture these talented individuals into future leaders.
Looking ahead, our ambition is beyond simply being an architectural firm. We aim to set the standard for others in the industry while making a meaningful contribution to society. Our mission extends to creating positive impacts through our architectural work and fostering the growth and development of the incredible individuals within our team.
Not long ago, Lumbung Architect was a conventional architecture studio led by Ngurah Andri Saputra. Today, we are proud to have grown into a team of more than 60 dedicated members. I am committed to helping the company achieve its vision and continue its journey.
