Terra Verte Ubud is an interior project that explores how Mediterranean design can be reinterpreted within Bali’s natural context. Located in Desa Kenderan, Tegallalang, the restaurant sits within a villa complex and is designed to accommodate 60 to 80 guests across a 415 sqm space. Rather than treating Mediterranean as a visual style, the approach focuses on its spatial qualities. Warmth, openness, and soft transitions between indoor and outdoor become the foundation. These are then combined with the character of Bali, expressed through bamboo elements, natural materials, and direct framing towards the surrounding rice fields.

The primary challenge lies in balancing capacity with comfort. Clear zoning, generous circulation, and layered spatial planning allow family dining, couple dining, and bar areas to coexist without feeling crowded. Furniture is not fully oriented towards the view, but carefully positioned to maintain both connection and spatial breathing room.

The result is a dining experience where function, atmosphere, and context are equally considered.
